Early practice,
formally recognised.

Associate accreditation is for practitioners in their first years of applied AI work. You have shipped, you have faced real trade-offs, and the credential puts that judgement on the record where an employer can verify it.

— Common questions —

Things people ask about Associate level.

Does product or policy work count as applied AI work?+
Yes. The framework assesses practice, not job titles. If you scope, ship, evaluate, or govern AI systems as part of your role, that is applied work the panel can assess.
What does Associate level cost?+
The assessment is £29.99, one-off. If you pass, the Associate annual fee is £99.99 a year.
Should I start at Student instead?+
Only if your evidence is still mostly study. Apply for the level your work supports today; the panel will tell you if it points somewhere else.
Can my employer pay?+
Yes. Many employers fund accreditation as professional development, and we work with organisations on cohort enrolment. Point your manager at organisation partnerships.
What happens if I do not pass?+
You receive structured feedback from the panel against the published criteria, and you can apply again once your evidence has moved on. The fee covers one assessment.
