IoAI Community
Code of Conduct.
Creating a respectful, constructive and professional community.
The Institute of AI (IoAI) welcomes open discussion, knowledge sharing and professional collaboration. This Code applies to all Members using AI Chatter and other IoAI Community facilities.
Respect others.
Treat fellow Members with courtesy and professionalism. Harassment, bullying, discrimination, intimidation, threats and personal attacks are not permitted. Healthy debate, constructive criticism and differences of opinion are encouraged. You do not have to agree with the IoAI or other Members, but disagreements must remain respectful.
Be honest and responsible.
Be truthful about your identity, qualifications and professional experience. Do not impersonate others, deliberately spread misleading information or falsely imply endorsement by the IoAI. Where relevant, distinguish facts from opinions or speculation, and be transparent about AI-generated content. Correct significant inaccuracies when identified.
Respect privacy and security.
Do not share another person's private information, confidential material or private communications without appropriate permission. Keep your account secure, respect access restrictions and report suspected security or privacy incidents.
Keep discussions relevant.
Use AI Chatter and other Community facilities for their intended purposes. Spam, scams, phishing, excessive self-promotion and misleading advertising are prohibited. Share links and opportunities responsibly, and disclose commercial interests where required.
Content, recommendations and opportunities shared by Members are not automatically endorsed or verified by the IoAI. Members are responsible for assessing third-party opportunities and arrangements independently.
Moderation and reporting.
Members should report inappropriate behaviour, concerning content or suspected misuse through the IoAI's published reporting channels. The IoAI may remove content, issue warnings, restrict access or suspend accounts where reasonably necessary to protect the community. Serious concerns may require immediate action.
We aim to handle reports fairly, consider relevant circumstances and provide an opportunity to request a review where appropriate. Retaliation for genuine reports is not permitted.
About this Code.
The IoAI may update this Code and introduce additional rules for individual facilities. Material changes will be communicated to Members.
This Code operates alongside the IoAI's applicable Terms of Use, Privacy Notice and relevant laws.
