Teach with IoAI

Free for everyone to take. Open for anyone to teach.

Learn AI is open to anyone who teaches AI well, whether you teach it in a classroom, a lecture theatre, or a Monday stand-up. Contributed lessons carry your name, are reviewed to the same standard as everything else here, and stay free to the people who take them.

Contribute a lesson

Reviewed, not just published

Contribution is open to anyone, and the standard the teaching is held to stays exactly the same.

Credited on the lesson itself

Your name sits on the lesson page, shown to every learner who opens it, rather than in the small print.

— Beyond the individual —

Bringing it to a class,
a charity, or a whole organisation.

Learn AI is built for individuals, and the same material sits behind free programmes for the places where AI literacy is hardest to fund.

— Common questions —

What people ask
before they start.

Is Learn AI really free?+
Yes. Every lesson, quick answer, and glossary entry is free to take and free to finish, including the quiz and your record of completion. There is no trial, no card, and no upsell.
Do I need an account?+
Not to start. The opening section of every lesson, all quick answers, and the whole glossary are open to anyone. A free Member account unlocks the rest of each lesson, the end-of-lesson quiz, and your record of completion.
Do I need a technical background?+
No. The AI Essentials track assumes nothing at all, and everything on Learn AI is explained in plain English. Where a term matters, the lesson explains it before it uses it.
What do I get when I finish a lesson?+
A record of completion held on your profile, with a public verification page you can link from a CV or a LinkedIn profile. Anyone you send it to can check it.
Who makes the lessons?+
Lessons come from the Institute of AI and from contributors: educators, practitioners, training providers, and organisations who teach the subject well. Every lesson names whoever taught it on the lesson page, and contributed lessons say so plainly.
How does this relate to accreditation?+
Learn AI is free and open to everyone, and nothing on it is a prerequisite for anything. Accreditation is the step beyond: four levels, from Student to Fellow, assessed against the Institute of AI's competency framework rather than self-declared.
— Where this leads —

From your first lesson to
accreditation.

Learn AI is free for everyone, and every lesson ends in a completion you can verify. Accreditation is the step beyond: four levels, from Student to Fellow, assessed against the framework this content is built on.
