Before you apply
Bring your expertise and an idea of how you would contribute. We’ll discuss the right fit with you.
Primarily experienced professionals working in or around AI, including practitioners, governance specialists, consultants, leaders, educators, researchers, and content creators. Technical and non-technical experience are both valuable. You can be established in your profession while newer to AI. Earlier-career applicants are also welcome where they can demonstrate a meaningful contribution.
You choose how and when to take part, with no fixed hours or regular time commitment. You might refer someone for accreditation, nominate a colleague, share an article, or contribute to a discussion when it interests you. The programme fits around your existing work and commitments, so you can get involved in the ways that suit you.
Professional and organisation pathways can cover assessment and accreditation on passing. Your AI Ambassador title recognises your appointment; accreditation recognises knowledge and practice demonstrated through assessment. We’ll help identify the relevant pathway for you.
As an AI Ambassador, you can offer people and organisations in your community exclusive discounts on professional and organisation accreditation. Help clients, colleagues, and your wider network access professional recognition at a reduced cost. We’ll explain how to share these discounts when you join the programme.
Yes. AI Ambassadors can earn commission on successful referrals for professional and organisation accreditation. Introduce people and organisations in your network to IoAI accreditation and earn income when those referrals succeed. We’ll explain the commission arrangements and how referrals work when you join the programme.
You can nominate people and organisations in your community for supported assessment or accreditation. We particularly welcome nominations for people from underrepresented or disadvantaged backgrounds, or those facing financial barriers to professional recognition. This helps make AI accreditation more accessible and brings a wider range of experience into the profession. Accreditation is earned by meeting the relevant assessment requirements.
AI Ambassadors receive priority consideration for publishing, teaching, and speaking opportunities, and can be considered for features across IoAI channels. Selection reflects relevance and contribution. The IoAI Awards provide selective annual recognition for contributions to AI education, professional practice, and community access.
