I have shipped models for eight years and had nothing to point at that a hiring manager could check. Now there are five letters after my name and a verification page that proves it.

Things people ask
before applying.

Is IoAI accreditation recognised by employers?+
The accreditation is built around a four-level evidence-based assessment, independently run, with named assessors and a published methodology. Hiring managers can specify IoAI accreditation in job ads, and every credential is verifiable on the public register. Recognition is earned over time, and we are building it the right way: by being rigorous, independent, and useful.
Why pay for accreditation when I can just put AI on my LinkedIn?+
You can. So can everyone else, which is the problem. Vendor certifications prove tool fluency. IoAI accreditation proves practice: that you can scope, build, ship, and govern AI work, assessed against a defined competency framework rather than a multiple-choice test. It is the kind of credential employers can actually filter on, because the bar is the same for everyone.
Which level should I apply for?+
Apply for the level your evidence supports today. Student and Associate suit study and early practice, Professional is for senior practitioners leading work at scale, and Fellow recognises sustained contribution to the field. Each level page sets out the criteria, and the panel will tell you if your evidence points somewhere else.
What does it cost?+
The assessment is £29.99, one-off. If you pass, the annual Accredited Member fee is £49.99 for Student, £99.99 for Associate, £199.99 for Professional, and £299.99 for Fellow. Membership itself is free and separate, and you can hold it without ever sitting an assessment.
What happens if I do not pass?+
You receive structured feedback from the panel against the published criteria, and you can apply again once your evidence has moved on. Accreditation is earned, which is exactly what makes it worth holding.
