Planning is where teachers tend to get the clearest return. Useful jobs include rewriting a source text at several reading levels, generating a bank of questions at different levels of demand, differentiating an existing task for a particular group, drafting a knowledge organiser, and producing a first version of a letter home. The output still needs your subject knowledge applied to it, because these tools invent plausible facts, misjudge curriculum sequencing, and default to American terminology and spelling. Treat what comes back as a rough draft from an enthusiastic trainee: quick to produce, often genuinely helpful, and never ready to use unchecked.
