— Funded pathways for job seekers —

Accreditation while you look,
fully or partially funded.

If you are out of work and looking, the Institute of AI offers fully or partially funded accreditation pathways, covering some or all of your assessment and accreditation fees. You leave with post-nominals, a badge and a verification page a hiring manager can check while they read your application.

— What you actually pay —

The whole bill,
line by line.

No bundle, no tiering, no call to find out the number. Here is every charge that exists, and which of them a funded pathway can cover.

What a funded pathway gives you
  • Post-nominals to use immediately, from SIoAI to FIoAI
  • A public verification page an employer can check
  • A membership badge for your CV, LinkedIn and email signature
  • Your CPD record, open and logging from day one
  • Member events, clinics and the full run of Learn AI
What it does not
  • A set level of funding, because your pathway is confirmed with you before you apply
  • A guaranteed pass, because the assessment is evidence-based
  • A level you have not evidenced, because you are assessed on practice
— Four steps —

Pass, and hold it for 3 years

Your post-nominals, badge and verification page go live, with your funding applied to the accreditation fee that holds them for 3 years.

What funding
is actually worth.

The accreditation fee rises with the level, because the standing does. It is paid once and holds your grade for 3 years, and a funded pathway covers some or all of it whichever level you are assessed at.

— Common questions —

The offer, in plain terms.

Who counts as a job seeker?+
Anyone out of work and actively looking, whether that follows redundancy, the end of a contract, a career break or graduation. Get in touch before you apply and the Institute of AI will confirm your pathway with you.
Does funding cover the assessment too?+
It can. A fully funded pathway covers both the £29.99 assessment fee and the accreditation fee for your level. A partially funded pathway covers part of them, and you know exactly what you will pay before you apply.
What happens when my accreditation expires?+
Your accreditation holds for 3 years, kept active by meeting your annual CPD target. When it expires you apply again with no assessment fee. If you are in work by then, which is rather the point, it is an ordinary professional fee.
What if I do not pass?+
The assessment is evidence-based, so a level you have not evidenced is not awarded. You keep your free Member account and all of Learn AI, and you can come back to the assessment when your practice has caught up with the framework.
Can I be assessed at a level above Student?+
Yes. You are assessed at the level your practice supports, not the level your job title once said. Read the competency framework and pick honestly, because the credential is only useful if it holds up.

A funded pathway,
while you look.

Confirm your eligibility, sit the assessment, and spend the rest of your search with a credential a hiring manager can verify rather than a claim they have to trust.
