The longer story
Evaluate an AI tool across several dimensions: transparency (does the provider explain how it works and what data it uses?), accuracy (have you tested it against known correct answers in your domain?), data handling (where does your input data go, and is it used for training?), track record (what do independent reviews and audits say?), and compliance (does it meet relevant regulations like GDPR?). Be sceptical of tools that make bold claims without evidence, and always pilot before rolling out widely.
