costs nothing

A Member account at the UK's professional body for AI. Free learning, member events, and a clear route to a credential you can earn when you are ready. No payment card, no trial period.

— What the free account carries —

Four things you get for
no money at all

Learn AI, all of it, free

Lessons, a plain-English glossary and quick answers, built by the UK professional body for AI rather than by someone selling you a model. There is no paywall and no upsell waiting at the end of a track.

Your own member profile

A profile at the professional body, ready to carry a credential when you earn one.

Stand behind the Charter

The UK AI Readiness Charter is free to read and free for organisations to sign, and it is the plainest statement of what getting ready for AI actually involves.

— The distinction —

The door is open. The credential
is earned

Every serious professional body works this way, and it is the reason an accredited grade means anything at all.

— Common questions —

Joining, in brief

Is joining really free?+
Yes. A Member account costs nothing, needs no payment card and does not expire. Accreditation is the paid part, and it is entirely optional.
What is the difference between a Member and an Accredited Member?+
Anyone can join as a Member. An Accredited Member has passed the assessment at one of the four levels and paid the one-off accreditation fee that holds the credential. The distinction is deliberate: the door is open, the credential is earned.
Do I need to work in AI to join?+
No. Members include people building AI systems, people leading organisations adopting AI, and people who are simply learning. Learn AI is free to all of them.
What does accreditation cost if I decide to go for it?+
A one-off £29.99 for the assessment, then a one-off accreditation fee at the grade you are awarded: £49.99 at Student, £99.99 at Associate, £199.99 at Professional and £299.99 at Fellow, each valid for 3 years.
