The longer story
AI can produce outputs that appear creative, writing stories, composing music, generating artwork, and suggesting novel solutions. However, AI does not experience imagination or intention. It generates outputs by recombining patterns from its training data in ways that are statistically plausible. Whether this counts as creativity is a philosophical debate, but in practical terms, AI is an increasingly powerful creative tool when guided by a skilled human.
