Six applicants. Two places. An AI assistant offers a confident shortlist, but one application has been cut short during processing and another is being rewarded for a famous former employer. You chair the committee. Which claims survive a check against the evidence? Work through a fictional hiring case: score the samples, challenge an AI recommendation, recover missing evidence and write a decision someone else can check. Everything you need is included. Keep your decisions in your own notes; an external chatbot is optional.

None of these are hard requirements. The lesson is easier if they are already familiar, but everything it uses is explained along the way, so you can start without them.
Section one is open to everyone. Create a free account to work through the rest and take the quiz.
A community organisation needs two event coordinators. Both roles involve scheduling activities, checking simple budgets and communicating practical arrangements. All six fictional applicants meet the availability requirement. Your job is to recommend two people using the supplied work samples. You will see an AI recommendation after making your own assessment, then a source correction and a common follow-up. Keep each version of your decision so you can explain what changed. Start with a small judgement. An applicant writes: “Please confirm your attendance by 3 pm Friday. The venue is the community hall.” What can you establish from that message?
