Anyone can check an Institute of AI membership from the member's public verification link, with no account needed. This guide shows you what to look for.
Every member who has switched on public verification has a personal verification page. You will usually receive the link from the member themselves, on their CV, in their email signature, or on their LinkedIn profile. You do not need an IoAI account to open it.
The card shows the name exactly as registered with the Institute of AI. A card marked Registered Member confirms a current IoAI membership. A pink-bordered card marked Verified Accreditation means the member also holds a professional accreditation.
The card shows when the membership started and when it expires. If the expiry date has passed, the membership is no longer current.
The credential ID at the bottom of the card is unique to the member. If they have given you a credential ID separately, check that it matches the one on the page.
Verification links only work while the member keeps public verification switched on. If the page cannot be found, ask the member to re-share their link.
