Find your
accreditation level.

Not sure which level fits you? The self-assessment points you to the Institute of AI accreditation level your experience is likely to support, in about two minutes.

— Step by step

Four steps to your indicative level.

01

Open the self-assessment

Head to the professional self-assessment. It is a short, indicative check, not the full assessment, and nothing you enter is saved. You do not need an account to take it.

02

Answer six quick questions

Work through six questions about your experience and how you practise. For each one, pick the closest fit and move on with Next question. There are no right answers, so go with the option that reflects where you are today.

03

See your indicative level

On the last question, select See my result. We point you to the level your answers are likely to support, from Student through Associate and Professional to Fellow, and show where it sits on the ladder. You can retake it as many times as you like.

04

Explore the level and apply

From your result, open the suggested level to see exactly what it recognises, how the assessment works, and what evidence the panel looks for. When you are ready, you can start a real application from there.
